Anthony R. Ruvo, MD FACEP
Owner and President

Dr. Ruvo completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital/Westchester County Medical Center in New York, and served as Chief Resident. He has over twenty-five years of clinical and administrative experience in Emergency Medicine and is President and CEO of MedExcel. He has reorganized MedExcel USA, Inc. into a progressive group, ready to meet the challenges of the ever-changing medical environment. Dr. Ruvo serves on NY ACEP’s Practice Management Committee, is Medical Director of the Orange County Regional Paramedic/EMS Corp., serves on the Hudson Valley Regional EMS Medical Advisory Board, the American College of Physician Executives, the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of the State of NY.

Edward Orlando, MD
Owner and Executive Director

Dr. Orlando completed his Emergency Medicine residency at St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He’s board certified in Emergency Medicine and served as an emergency department director for six years. After becoming an urgent care practice owner, his focus shifted away from clinical practice and toward billing and financial analysis. His passion for computer science led him to become owner and Executive Director of Advanced Health Partners, Inc. in 2013. Dr. Orlando runs the day to day operations of Advanced Health Partners, Inc. full time. As billing becomes more of a technical challenge, Dr. Orlando’s strengths in process improvement, computer programming and data analytics has produced measurable results for our clients. He’s developed and implemented an innovative system of financial reporting and the ability to “drill down” into our data further than ever before.
